A downloadable game for Windows

"Epic Salmon Games" & SAE Institute Perth presents: Arcade Anarchy!

A collection of 5 "micro" or "mini" games built around an old-school, retro arcade theme. Play the games to earn Tickets, which you can redeem for prizes! Escape the law as a heroic horse in the endless runner, Desperado Dash. Or, infiltrate a base and collect valuable enemy intel, in the 'Red Light, Green Light'-style stealth game, Hide 'N' Seek!

This is my final project for my Diploma of Game Development studies. Specifically, this is version 1.01, a post-release version that features a new animation system for my personal contribution, the Hide 'N' Seek minigame.

Since this was our first major project in a class based on team and workplace management, we encountered many challenges, and of course, bugs. You will no doubt find a few in each game you play; we had a strict deadline that could not be moved. Thus, I have decided to upload a version that has not been further modified since completing my diploma.

In Hide 'N' Seek specifically, you will probably notice 3 things:

  • Guard animations not working under some circumstances
  • Guards pushing each other around due to colliders... colliding
  • Audio levels being significantly lower than the rest of the game

These were all noted in playtesting, but were not fixed in time for release. So now I guess they are features! :)
